Emaled 500/300 is a high-performance
dual-dome ceiling-mounted operating light designed for
high-complexity surgical procedures, including
cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and organ transplantation.
The system integrates two independent illumination modules:
- The main dome (500) delivers up to 160,000 lux, providing intense, high-fidelity lighting for critical phases of surgery requiring maximum detail and depth perception.
- The secondary dome (300) provides up to 120,000 lux, serving as supplementary or backup illumination during less intensive maneuvers or team-assisted interventions.
Both domes feature:
- A uniform working field of 180–350 mm in diameter
- Color temperature of 4500 K (neutral white light)
- Color Rendering Index (Ra) ≥ 95, ensuring accurate, distortion-free tissue visualization essential for precision surgery
- Zero thermal radiation on the surgical field—thanks to advanced LED technology—eliminating risk of thermal injury even during prolonged operations
Mounted on the ceiling, the Emaled 500/300 optimizes operating room space while ensuring stable, vibration-free positioning. Each dome is equipped with:
- Five brightness levels (10% – 100%) for adaptable lighting control
- Quick-release sterilizable handles with push-button mechanisms for intuitive adjustment and rapid disinfection
