The S20Exp ultrasound system harmoniously integrates intelligent efficiency with ergonomic design, optimizing performance for comprehensive research in cardiovascular diagnostics, obstetrics, gynecology, and general/specific investigations. One key difference between the S20Exp and its predecessor, the S20, lies in the additional option to install compression sonoelastography mode and the availability of panoramic scanning. Since the width of near-field images is limited by the sensor width, obtaining an overall view of small structures becomes challenging. Panoramic imaging addresses this limitation by moving the probe along the target anatomy zone and stitching several sequential images together programmatically, resulting in a single elongated image with an extremely wide field of vision. Using mutual correlation methods, the system acquires consecutive images, merges them, and forms the final output. This mode is beneficial for diagnosing conditions like spinal canal issues in children, pathological foci in musculoskeletal structures, cartilages, and joints.
