Description
The Philips Access CT 16 is a modern entry-level computed tomography system combining high-quality visualization, low radiation dose, and an automated workflow. The system is designed for a wide range of clinical tasks—from routine diagnostics to specialized studies in cardiology, oncology, neuroradiology, and pediatrics.
The Access CT 16 delivers ultra-high resolution thanks to a 1024×1024 reconstruction matrix, supports helical and axial scanning, and features advanced image processing technologies: iDose⁴ (iterative reconstruction), MAR (metal artifact reduction), and ASTR (accurate reconstruction at high pitch).
The system complies with the international NEMA XR-29 standard and includes dose management features (DoseRight ACS, DoseCheck), automatic exposure modulation, and specialized pediatric protocols (including a 70 kV mode).
With an intuitive interface, automation packages (iPlanning, iBatch, IMPR), and advanced applications (Lung Nodule Analysis, AVA Stenosis, Perfusion, Virtual Colonoscopy, Dental), the scanner enhances departmental productivity and ensures standardized examinations.
